MISTRAS Group is currently seeking an experienced Temp OR Full‑Time NDT PAUT Technician for projects based in Jacksonville, FL, as well as travel assignments throughout the United States. Candidates will perform advanced ultrasonic inspections using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) methods in accordance with industry codes, procedures, and customer requirements.

- Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) inspections on welds, piping, pressure vessels, and structural components
- Set up and calibrate PAUT equipment
- Interpret and evaluate inspection data in accordance with applicable codes and specifications
- Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation
- Maintain inspection records and ensure quality compliance
- Follow all company, client, and site‑specific safety procedures
- Work closely with customers, project managers, and inspection teams
- Support additional NDT methods as needed
- Travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. as project demands require
- Work overtime, weekends, shutdowns, and outage schedules when necessary
- Current Level II or Level III PAUT certification required
- Previous PAUT field experience required
- Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT‑TC1A for one or all of the following is required: PAUT
- Prior certification as a UTSW NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as Level II per SNT‑TC1A standards on all or one (1) of the following is required;
Phased Array, UTSW - Strong understanding of ultrasonic testing principles and advanced NDT techniques
- Ability to read and interpret codes, standards, isometrics, and technical drawings
- Experience with corrosion mapping, weld inspections, and encoded scans preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the U.S.
- Additional NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, RT, VT, TOFD) preferred
- Experience in refinery, petrochemical, aerospace, manufacturing, pipeline, or power generation industries
