Quality Control Technician IV

• Applies functional knowledge of Quality Control requirements to execute organizational objectives.
• Supports planning and delegation of administrative tasks and support, including data maintenance and scheduling.
• Develops partnerships across the organization to ensure flawless customer support.
• Updates quality policies and procedures based on new or revised regulatory requirements, internal investigations, and audits.
• Uses data to identify risks and improvement opportunities and independently implements risk mitigations and process improvements.
• Supports formal escalation processes to ensure visibility of risks associated with product quality, regulatory compliance, and quality systems.
• Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo in day‑to‑day interactions with team.
• Troubleshoot equipment to determine root causes of failure. (40%)
• Compiles data to identify trends and proposes corrective action. (10%)
• Ensure maintenance and calibration compliance for test equipment. (30%)
• Coordinate activities with metrology, engineering, and other relevant departments. (10%)
• Implement revisions, corrections and changes to test equipment, and procedures. (10%)

• Education – High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience and Skills
  • 6‑8 years of related experience.
  • Technical maintenance experience (Chiller repair, motion controls, simple wiring, pneumatics, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MES, EDHR, and Vibes.
  • Knowledge of Quality Engineering, design control, and verification and validation (V&V) tools and methodologies.
  • Electrical Safety Card – greatly preferred.
  • TWI Training certification – preferred.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
