Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Northwest Partners is supporting a major initiative with a top-tier organization in the technology space and is looking for an experienced Safety Manager to contribute to the success of this work. The role will support safety program administration, compliance activities, inspections, training, and workplace safety initiatives within an enterprise environment.
What YOU will do- Manage safety resources and establish priorities for implementing safety policies, standards, and procedures.
- Develop and conduct safety inspections, training, and employee orientations.
- Manage workplace injury case activities, workers compensation claims, and related documentation.
- Maintain safety records, reporting documentation, and audit materials.
- Review workplace hazards, safety procedures, and corrective actions to support compliance requirements.
- Investigate workplace incidents, unsafe conditions, and vehicle-related accidents to identify causes and prevention measures.
- Coordinate safety committee meetings and safety education programs.
- Inspect facilities, equipment, and work processes to identify and address potential hazards.
- Use safety data sheets and regulatory resources to evaluate chemical and workplace safety requirements.
- Support safety system documentation and enterprise safety application requirements.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of experience developing and enforcing safety programs for similar contracts, or three years of experience with a Certified Safety Professional credential or safety and health degree.
- Experience supporting safety programs in a government or regulated environment preferred.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and work order management.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and standards including OSHA, CFR 1910, CFR 1926, NFPA, ANSI, and related industry requirements.
- CPR certification through an approved provider within required timeframe.
