Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in from-scratch cooking, understands classic techniques, and can work independently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and consistency our members expect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients for service including chopping, slicing, portioning, and organizing mise en place
  • Produce sauces, soups, stocks, and other menu components from scratch
  • Execute basic restaurant prep and support line cooks during service as needed
  • Follow standardized recipes while maintaining consistency and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld at all times
  • Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries
  • Work independently to complete prep lists efficiently and accurately
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Prep Cook or similar kitchen role
  • Strong ability to prepare dishes, sauces, and soups from scratch
  • Solid understanding of basic culinary techniques and knife skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
