We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find their favorite merchandise. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and assist in daily operations to meet sales goals.

• Provide a memorable shopping experience that encourages customers to return, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Support store operations by stepping in on the sales floor and assisting management when needed.
• Open and close the store as required, ensuring security and readiness.
• Process sales transactions at the register, promote add-on sales, and manage store inventory and shortages.
• Understand sales goals and KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram updates and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ.
• Work with store management to prevent theft and ensure store security.
• Help maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment.
• Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader.

• At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
