Position: The Ups Store retail Manager at The UPS Store #3682 Jacksonville, FL

Job Summary

The Store Manager at The UPS Store #3682 in Jacksonville, Florida is a full-time, hourly customer service position. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store and ensuring high-quality customer service. This is an individual contributor role, reporting directly to the store owner.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15 to $17 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, eligible employees will also receive comprehensive benefits commission and employee discounts at The UPS Store locations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise all aspects of store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Train and mentor team members to provide exceptional customer service and ensure they are knowledgeable about store products and services.
  • Monitor and improve store sales and profitability by implementing effective sales strategies and promoting store products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses, and prepare reports for upper management.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including displays and inventory.
  • Adhere to all shipping and packing regulations to ensure the safe delivery of customer packages.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays.
  • Requirements

    Worked with The Ups Store

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Prior management experience in a retail or customer service setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Knowledge of basic business and accounting principles.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
