Retail Display Installer – Technology

Travel up to 90 miles from home, on average. Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

Work Monday–Friday. Weekends are not required.

Overview

2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail-oriented, and self‑motivated Field Service Representative to install and maintain retail displays for leading technology brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. The role involves installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps, performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs, and following plan‑ograms and client‑specific directives. You’ll work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications and technology to complete assignments efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond and remain responsible for consistent communication with field services management within 24 hours of contact.
  • Keep availability updated and accurate.
  • Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete necessary forms, images, and surveys associated with each job/assignment before leaving the site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional.
  • Participate in early morning installations and in teams of two or more people, providing solution feedback.
  • Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
  • Assist team members as needed.
  • Adhere to timelines for accurate timecard submission, reporting anomalies daily with needed corrections.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Participate and complete training and certification programs.
  • Accurately track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems and workflows.
  • Be available for weekend assignments as needed.
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Accept that hours and locations may vary week to week, including occasional weekends, early mornings, and holidays.
Other Duties
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the shared services team, local/regional markets, clients, and retailers.
  • Foster a positive work environment and communicate professionally with all team members.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel up to 90 miles per assignment.
  • Flexible availability Monday through Friday, weekend and holiday availability as needed, and early morning or late‑night availability as required.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within any rolling 30‑day period.
  • Physical ability to climb a ladder up to 10 ft, lift and carry up to 60 lbs, kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, handle/grasp, and reach overhead.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (previous retail or merchandising experience beneficial).
  • Experience in installation and merchandising, proficiency with hand and power tools, ability to follow planograms.
  • Own an Android or Apple mobile device that can upload photos and data, and uses various communication platforms and applications.
  • Must complete all training assignments and tasks within designated time frames.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem‑solving, time‑management, leadership, and professional presentation skills.
