Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is the primary finance partner supporting Curana Health’s Pro Care relationship and affiliated risk-bearing facilities. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll deliver timely, decision-oriented financial reporting across Pro Care’s ISNP and CSNP products and partner closely with Strategy, Operations, Clinical, and external stakeholders to drive transparency and performance accountability. You’ll lead key analytics that support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and strategic growth initiatives—translating complex claims, membership, and cost data into actionable insights.

You will also support month‑end close activities for Pro Care and assist with financial audits and CMS-related deliverables as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Create monthly performance reporting (P&L, utilization, spend trends, gainshare/risk results) with clear storylines and recommendations.
  • Own facility-level risk agreement calculations and incentive reporting; ensure accuracy, transparency, and on‑time delivery.
  • Lead monthly capitation and membership reconciliation with Finance and Operations; investigate variances and resolve issues.
  • Analyze claims, accruals, high cost/denied claims, and key cost drivers; explain results to both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Own Part D funds-flow documentation (revenue sources, accrual methodology, operational levers) and support performance discussions with leaders.
  • Track recoveries/recoupments and support internal/external audits; coordinate vendor data for accurate accounting and prefunding.
  • Support budgeting/forecasting and CMS deliverables (MLR filing, Medicare Bid); build/maintain reporting with Data Ops and create executive-ready summaries and ad hoc analysis.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting and prepare executive-ready materials (summaries, decks, and KPIs).
Qualifications

Qualifications Sought:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, analytics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years relevant experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets and financial systems.
  • Strong analytical judgment with the ability to translate numbers into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and project management skills; able to partner effectively across Finance and Operations.

Preferred:

  • Medicare Advantage/health plan experience (claims, capitation, or Part

    D).
