Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Jacksonville, FL 32218

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

  • Your starting hourly pay rate is $14.00 to $16.00 depending on your skills and experience.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position has three major components:

  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You will use technology for daily work, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Holiday support: Hallmark’s operations revolve around seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you can expect additional days and extended hours. On occasions like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day, you may be required to work on the actual holiday itself, including weekends.
  • Department resets: Occasionally you will be part of a team responsible for installations and various tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. You will be notified at least two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you are part of a network of merchandisers who often support other team members as needed in their territories.
  • Physical Requirements

    This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds during the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Read, write, and understand English.
    • Capable of grasping, pulling, lifting, and carrying products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
    • Has access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
    • Has reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
