Vaco is directly hiring Sales Executive professionals within the retail technology realm for a successful payment terminal solutions provider. This is a full-time, fully remote role within the US, with regular travel as needed.

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Sales Executive to drive strategic revenue growth by acquiring, developing, and expanding relationships with large, complex retail enterprise accounts. This role focuses on selling high-value solutions that address the unique operational, technology, and revenue generation needs of enterprise retailers. The ideal candidate is a consultative seller with deep retail industry knowledge, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a proven ability to influence C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Sales & Revenue Growth:
    Build and execute account strategies that drive net new revenue and expand share of wallet within existing enterprise accounts; develop and deliver impactful sales presentations, business cases, ROI models, and proposals tailored to executive-level audiences.
  • Retail Industry Expertise:
    Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise retailers by understanding their business models, operational workflows, digital transformation priorities, and growth challenges; stay current on retail trends including omnichannel strategy, store technology, ecommerce, supply chain modernization, customer experience, and data analytics.
  • Account Relationship Leadership:
    Cultivate and manage executive relationships with senior leaders within target accounts; lead strategic account planning sessions and coordinate efforts across Sales Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Partner with Product and Marketing to influence roadmaps based on customer needs and competitive insights; collaborate with partners and integrators to accelerate deal velocity and market penetration.
  • Pipeline Development & Forecasting:
    Build and maintain a strong, predictable sales pipeline through targeted outreach, industry events, and demand generation campaigns; provide accurate forecasting and reporting using CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, selling SaaS, retail technology, or complex enterprise solutions.
  • Experience selling into and closing multistakeholder, national or global retail brands.
  • Deep understanding of retail/store operations and systems, omnichannel workflows, and enterprise decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and consultative selling skills.

Preferred

  • Existing relationships with retail enterprise decision-makers.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
Performance Metrics
  • Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Growth of enterprise account penetration and customer lifetime value.
  • Deal velocity, forecast accuracy, and pipeline health.
  • Contribution to strategic product, market, and partnership initiatives.
