Luxury Design Associate

Kavaliro is seeking a Luxury Design Associate who will be a client-focused design professional combining strong aesthetic sensibility with consultative sales expertise. This role is responsible for guiding clients through the furniture selection and design process while delivering a premium, personalized experience that reflects the brand’s craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail. The associate serves as both a trusted design advisor and a sales partner, helping clients translate their vision into beautifully executed interiors.

• Engage with clients in a showroom or studio setting to understand their design goals, lifestyle needs, and budget.
• Provide expert guidance on furniture collections, materials, finishes, and customization options.
• Develop furniture layouts, concepts, or design recommendations that align with client expectations and brand standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through attentive service, follow-up, and ongoing communication.
• Drive sales by presenting solutions thoughtfully, handling objections, and closing transactions with confidence.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and orders while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, or logistics partners to support order fulfillment and delivery timelines.
• Maintain showroom presentation, visual merchandising, and product knowledge at a luxury standard.
• Stay informed on design trends, materials, and industry best practices.

• Background or education in interior design, furniture design, architecture, or a related field.
• Experience in luxury retail, showroom sales, or client-facing design roles.
• Strong eye for aesthetics, materials, and spatial planning.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build rapport with discerning, high‑expectation clients.
• Sales‑driven mindset with a consultative, service‑oriented approach.
• High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with design tools, CRM systems, or order management software is a plus.
