Position SummaryThe Membership Director serves as the face of the Club and is responsible for driving membership growth, retention, and engagement. This role leads the full membership sales lifecycle, builds strong community relationships, and delivers an exceptional experience for prospective and current Members.
Key Responsibilities Membership Sales & Strategy- Recruit and enroll new Members while achieving monthly and annual sales goals.
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, tours, follow-up, closing, and onboarding.
- Create and execute quarterly membership sales and marketing plans.
- Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently track activity in the CRM.
- Represent the Club in community and networking organizations to generate leads.
- Build relationships with Members to encourage referrals and guest introductions.
- Attend Club events and host membership experiences and open houses.
- Ensure a welcoming onboarding experience for new Members.
- Foster strong Member relationships to support retention and satisfaction.
- Partner with Club leadership to enhance programming and engagement.
- Work with Membership, Marketing, and Private Events teams to drive leads, promotions, and brand awareness.
- Support membership messaging, campaigns, and pricing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate membership records, contracts, and database reporting.
- Utilize CRM tools (Jonas/Encore preferred) to track pipeline and performance.
- Coordinate membership documentation and billing support.
- 2–3+ years of outbound sales experience with a proven track record of success (private club or hospitality sales preferred).
- High-energy, outgoing personality with strong networking skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems;
Jonas/Encore is a plus. - Professional presence with strong organization and attention to detail.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional Member service.
