Currency Automation Sales Representative Position SummaryThe Territory Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by building relationships with financial institutions and retail locations within an assigned territory. This role focuses on promoting equipment, supplies, and services while managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal through installation. The position requires a consultative sales approach, strong customer engagement, and close collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve or exceed annual revenue and profit margin goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive long-term partnerships
- Identify customer needs and position solutions as the preferred provider
- Develop sales pitches and presentations aligned with company guidelines
- Conduct cold outreach and respond to inbound sales leads
- Promote new equipment, supplies, and service offerings
- Manage and update customer equipment lists and sales activity in the CRM system
- Maintain a target list of current customers, prospects, and competitors within the territory
- Prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals
- Coordinate equipment installations with the service team
- Collaborate with e-commerce and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Monitor competitor offerings and market trends within the territory
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to leadership
- Report service-related issues to appropriate internal stakeholders
- Attend required training sessions, meetings, and industry trade shows
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in sales, business development, or customer relationship management preferred
Strong customer service orientation with a consultative sales mindset - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
- Approximately 50% travel to customer sites, trade shows, and company events
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with laptops and standard office equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
