Overview
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of our Jacksonville, FL office.
First Citizens Bank Equipment Finance provides leasing and equipment financing solutions to thousands of small businesses, across various industries, nationwide. We offer these solutions to our borrowers and lessees, and assist our vendor partnerships in growing sales, profitability, and customer loyalty by providing customized, value-added finance solutions to their client base.
The Sales Representative I - Equipment Finance Syndications is a phone-based inside sales role delivering working capital and equipment finance solutions to small- and medium-sized business owners through our syndication network of lenders. In this consultative role, the candidate will have broad authority to qualify, negotiate, and close transactions with uncapped commission potential.
Responsibilities- Qualify, negotiate, and close equipment finance and working capital transactions through outbound dialing to meet or exceed monthly origination targets and acquisition goals
- Deliver a level of service mastery that originates and retains profitable relationships for the bank
- Become our customers’ trusted partner for financing solutions for their business
- Maintain a database of customers through documentation by recording activity and statistics on each outbound call; uphold standards for the minimum number of calls and talk time per day
- Maintain on-going productive relationships with existing customers and vendors to earn repeat business
- Collaborate effectively with associates across departments and our network of lenders
- Keep abreast of current industry, source, and market activities
- Continuously evolve partnership development to improve partnership efficiency and effectiveness
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
-OR-
High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in Sales
Additional Qualifications
- Self-motivated, team oriented, and hard-working with a passion for inside sales
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels
- Strong Customer Service skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;
Excel, Word - Highly coachable and adaptable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial Services industry experience
- Inside Sales experience
- Salesforce / CRM experience preferred
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
- Client-focused, proactive, and results-oriented.
