Reporting to the General Manager, the Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, managing key customer relationships, and overseeing major boiler system projects to ensure quality, safety, and budget adherence. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the quoting process, project oversight, and post-sale service for boiler systems in commercial and industrial environments.

Job Summary:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales and post-sale project lifecycle.
  • Identify new business opportunities, conduct site visits, and generate sales for boiler systems and related equipment.
  • Provide detailed quotes and proposals to customers based on technical specifications and site evaluations.
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to deliver timely and budget-conscious project execution.
  • Support safety, compliance, and quality control throughout project installation and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and system requirements for accurate quoting.
  • Generate sales leads through technician referrals, direct outreach, and field visits.
  • Follow up persistently on open quotes (3–5 times or more) to convert opportunities to purchase orders.
  • Support project planning by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring timely parts/equipment orders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by managing expectations and providing regular updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience of inside/outside sales experience
  • Knowledge in commercial and industrial boiler systems, including repairs and replacements.
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and customer communications for technical projects.
  • Valid Driver’s License with willingness to travel to customer sites throughout the region.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.

Pay & Benefits:

Salary:

  • Monthly Vehicle allowance
  • Base 90-100k + Bonus/ Commissions
