The Sales Development Program (SDP) at Smart Infrastructure Buildings is a structured, early-career development experience designed to prepare participants for a Sales Executive role in the building automation, fire, and security industry. This program combines technical training, sales skill development, cohort learning, and hands‑on local area experience to accelerate readiness for a customer‑facing sales position. Participants will gain exposure to Siemens’ portfolio, sales processes, tools, and customer engagement strategies while building strong business and technical foundations.
WhatYou'll Do
Participate in structured technical and sales training
Engage in cohort learning sessions and program assignments
Complete area-based learning activities and job shadowing
Build foundational knowledge of building automation, fire, and/or security solutions
Learn Siemens sales processes, tools, and CRM systems
Support sales teams with customer research, proposals, and opportunity development
Present learnings and progress throughout the program
Collaborate with mentors, managers, and program leaders
Structured development curriculum
Technical product and portfolio training
Exposure to real sales opportunities and customers
Mentorship and coaching
Cross‑functional learning opportunities
A clear pathway to a Sales Executive role
Participation in training sessions, cohort meetings, and program assignments is mandatory.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technical studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Interest in technical sales or solutions selling
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Learning agility and curiosity
Self‑motivation and accountability
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship experience at Siemensin sales, engineering, or customer‑facing roles
Interest in HVAC, building automation, fire, security, or mechanical systems
Presentation and relationship‑building skills
