Job Purpose:
In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to Account Managers on our Jacksonville team, and help support their assigned customer accounts.
- Base salary and commission details:
Compensation is $42,500 base salary plus eligibility for monthly commission. - Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8 am–5 pm ET, in office every day. - Maintain extremely organized and detail-oriented work habits.
- Provide superior and prompt phone and email etiquette; set pick-up and delivery appointments with customers.
- Communicate effectively with employees and internal teams.
- Provide superior customer service with a sense of urgency.
- Maintain accountability for assigned job responsibilities.
- Demonstrate strong task and time management abilities.
- Maintain continuous awareness of customer appointment setting needs.
- Input freight information into the TMS system.
- Upload and scan tenders into the load.
- Set up pickup and delivery appointments with shippers and receivers.
- Keep Account Managers informed of scheduling issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure quality service to internal and external contacts.
- Participate as a member of the account management team.
- Provide input for process improvements.
- Document shipping and receiving requirements for all locations.
- Show development into the role and demonstrate ability to engage with customers directly.
- College degree (2-year accepted)
- Professional speaking voice and demeanor
- A friendly, strong team player with a can do attitude
- Ability to demonstrate pride in all work
- Drive to deeply learn the ins and outs of a transportation brokerage
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Tech-savvy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
