Outside Sales Representative – Jacksonville, FL

Position Summary:

Facilitate, order and delivery interactions between food service customers and Halperns’ Steak & Seafood. Seek growth opportunities in existing customers and bring new customers to Halperns’ Steak & Seafood. Represent Halperns’ products and services and manage customer business relationships.

• Manages customer orders.
• Acquires new customers.
• Develops and maintains customer relationships.
• Manages customer accounts receivables within guidelines.
• Effectively executes the Selling Cycle.
• Develops negotiation strategies.
• Develops pricing strategies.
• Leverages resources to increase growth.
• Delivers effective presentations.
• Conducts customer business reviews.
• Maintains knowledge of the industry through industry magazines and local culinary organizations.
• Demonstrates and delivers understanding of the Food Service Industry and its operations.
• Understands areas of customer focus, including Sales Building, Staffing, Profitability, and Compliance.
• Demonstrates effective sampling.
• Explains key features and benefits of Halperns’ products.
• Understands and leverages advantages of Halperns’ branded products.
• Explains Value Added concepts to customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
