Job Summary
This role is responsible for the promotion and selling of XFINITY Residential products and services within an assigned turf. It focuses on individual direct sales and/or multiple dwelling units to establish relationships to meet sales targets while utilizing extensive product knowledge and sales experience.
Core Responsibilities- Showcasing Comcast product expertise and promoting/selling to customers by door‑to‑door canvassing in assigned area.
- Demonstrating current knowledge of XFINITY Residential products including features, benefits, pricing, and campaigns.
- Communicating and developing rapport with customers effectively.
- Evaluating individual customers' existing and potential product needs and making recommendations.
- Increasing customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models, and unique benefits over other service providers.
- Evaluating offers from other companies and framing a response to showcase the advantages of Comcast.
- Meeting physical requirements, including ability to walk/travel door‑to‑door for considerable distances in all types of weather.
- Obtaining and maintaining any credentials or licenses required to sell or design alarm systems, as required by law.
- Exercising independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Maintaining regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; working nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Relevant experience: 2–5 years in sales, preferably residential telecom.
- Strong adaptability, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, persuasion, professionalism, resilience, self‑motivation, and workplace organization.
Base pay: $41,488.00 per year. Total target compensation (base pay plus targeted commission): $81,238.00. Full‑time sales positions may earn commission and are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and other programs. For more detail, visit the careers site.
