Job Overview
This role is a US Commercial Lead for Myopia, based in Jacksonville, Florida, with a remote option for the continental United States. The incumbent will establish and lead the commercial strategy for myopia management within Johnson & Johnson Vision, representing the needs of eye care professionals, customers, and the broader Vision Care organization.
Responsibilities- Establish and lead US commercial efforts in myopia management.
- Represent the needs of the US marketplace, eye care professionals, and customers to the broader Vision Care organization.
- Lead a team of Myopia Clinical Sales Consultants, interacting with existing customers and developing new prospects.
- Consult on clinical benefits, implementation, and selling of Johnson & Johnson’s products, and maximize business value.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally across the Vision Care organization to align myopia initiatives with broader commercial strategies and portfolio priorities.
- Maintain advanced clinical knowledge of myopia, emerging science, and the business landscape.
- Lead the determination of regional market potential, annual sales forecasts, and business plans, partnering with marketing on demand generation.
- Oversee recruitment, coaching, development, and overall performance management of direct reports.
- Achieve US myopia sales and business objectives, including sales volume, revenue, market share, quota attainment, and forecast tracking.
- Guide account targeting and resource allocation strategies to maximize business impact and accelerate adoption.
- Partner with Sales Training and Education teams to design and deliver training programs that enhance product knowledge and commercial execution.
- Act as a change leader, motivating and inspiring teams through organizational and business evolution.
- Ensure Fleet Safety training and proper maintenance of company vehicles within the district.
- Manage Health Care Compliance expectations and directions.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
- Eight or more years of proven success in sales, marketing, and leadership roles within a healthcare environment.
- Experience in a medical device business and knowledge of myopia management preferred.
- Thorough understanding of sales applications and principles.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, business acumen, conflict management, written, and oral communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license in the United States.
- Ability to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend travel.
- Demonstrated leadership competencies, including talent acquisition, development, change management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Proven ability in business strategy and financial management.
Base pay range: $ – $. Certification of eligibility for company benefits and retirement plans applies.
Benefits Overview- Vacation: 120 hours per calendar year.
- Sick time: 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours in Colorado, 56 hours in Washington).
- Holiday pay: 13 days per calendar year (including floating holidays).
- Work, Personal and Family Time: up to 40 hours per calendar year.
- Parental Leave: 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care.
- Bereavement Leave: 240 hours for immediate family, 40 hours for extended family.
- Caregiver Leave: 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period.
- Volunteer Leave: 32 hours per calendar year.
- Military Spouse Time‑Off: 80 hours per calendar year.
