Responsibilities What You'll Do:Responsible for performing outbound sales calls, including cold-calling, lead follow-up and sales qualification, to develop a portfolio of buying customers while meeting or exceeding quotas.
Key Responsibilities:- Build relationships with potential new customers.
- Identify customer requirements and expectations while finding supply chain solutions to capture new business.
- Generate and penetrate leads to capture new business outside of current customer base through phone call, email, virtual face-time, Linked In and other mediums.
- Maintain a full pipeline of opportunities and target achievable accounts while diligently updating our Salesforce on activities, leads and follow-ups.
- Meet and exceed minimum KPI requirements such as productivity, new revenue growth, gross profit, contribution margin, load counts, multiple supply chain service sells and graduating accounts to need additional support.
- Challenge status quo with effective solutions and improvements to the achieve departmental sales goals.
- Utilize customer relationship management tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve sales goals.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
- 1 - 3 years prior sales, customer service and/or and logistics experience, including knowledgeable of industry related issues in transportation and/or supply chain management.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Office products, including Word, Access, Excel and customer relationship management tools, such as Salesforce.
