As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rover in Jacksonville, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents. You will support access points and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts while delivering customer‑focused service.

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations and unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, gates, and delivery and/or pickup areas; verify identification and/or visitor purpose per site procedures and direct drivers and visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation, report hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and support loss prevention efforts through presence and observation.

• Must have 6+ months of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
