As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication and timely reporting.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, loading dock areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues.

+ Control access for employees, visitors, and drivers by verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing traffic flow as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or medical situations, and notify management and/or emergency services when appropriate.

+ Complete detailed reports on daily activity, patrols, incidents, and policy exceptions, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

* + Have at least 6+ months of security experience.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
