** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.

+ Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and local public services as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, substations, yards, and perimeter areas, checking gates, doors, and restricted zones for unusual conditions.

+ Monitor cameras, intrusion detection, and access control systems, documenting activity and reporting suspicious or unauthorized access in accordance with post orders.

+ Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and site procedures, completing required reports and logs.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
