- You will conduct physical security surveys and crime prevention surveys.
- You will participate in facility construction and renovation meetings.
- You will be responsible for the daily support and maintenance of the installation Lost and Found Program.
- You will support physical security education training programs for Military Police and Law Enforcement personnel assigned to the installation.
- You will review all security requirement waivers and exemption requests from the installation and tenant commands.
- You will formulate goals, objectives and solutions for budget submission for the physical security/crime prevention section programs.
- You will be responsible for the application of security measures, equipment and requirements for physical security, crime prevention, anti-terrorism and force protection efforts aboard installation.
- You will be responsible for the daily system administration of Marine Corps Electronic Security System (MCESS) aboard installation; provide emergency after-hours support.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Inability to obtain and maintain the required clearance level may be a cause for removal from the position.
- May be required to respond to off base circumstances as directed by the installation commander, in accordance with USMC and DOD policy.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license, be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government emergency vehicle operator's license.
- Incumbent must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Overtime may be required.
- Must be U.S. citizen; and must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- This position does not meet the definition of Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) and is excluded from coverage as LEO for purposes of the Federal Employment Retirement System-Base Annuity IAW 5 CFR, Pan 842, Subpart H.
- Employees are designated as mission essential and are required to respond during an emergency and may be required to travel elsewhere in the U.S. as directed.
- Failure to meet conditions of employment may result in disciplinary action or termination.
- May be subject to being interrupted from meal or other work breaks while on duty.
- This position is subject to shift work. Incumbent is subject to 24-hour recall and will maintain a 24-hour recall notification number and is required to respond per installation policy/SOP.
