This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Officer based in Jacksonville, FL. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises to ensure safety and security, responding promptly to alarm systems and emergencies, conducting routine patrols, and enforcing policies to maintain a safe environment. Duties also include maintaining detailed incident reports, operating security equipment, and providing assistance to staff, patients, and visitors as needed to promote a secure setting.

• Experience with Security Operations, patrolling, and access control
• Proficiency in using surveillance systems and security equipment
• Strong communication skills for reporting incidents and interacting professionally with staff and visitors
• Attention to detail, situational awareness, and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies
• Knowledge of safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and conflict de-escalation techniques
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Previous security or law enforcement experience is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; security certification or relevant training is a plus
