What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a utilities environment.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including buildings, parking areas, gates, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to control entry to restricted utility operations and infrastructure areas.
Support Allied Universal and site leadership by preparing reports, maintaining assigned equipment, and following post orders related to armed patrol duties and/or security-related response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
