What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a front desk location within an educational setting.
Monitor visitor access, review identification and/or sign-in records, and direct students, staff, guests, and vendors according to site protocols.
Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
Support front desk operations by observing lobby activity, maintaining detailed logs and reports, answering phones when assigned, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior.
Assist with access control and security-related awareness by helping to deter unauthorized entry, verifying credentials, and following established procedures for deliveries, after-hours requests, and visitor management.

Minimum Requirements:

CPO is required.
An Armed Guard Card and/or License is required.
A minimum of 4 years of military or law enforcement experience, or a criminal justice degree, is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
