** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with access-related concerns, and support a professional environment for everyone at the location.

+ Document incidents, observations, and/or unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local authorities, and/or designated site contacts as needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.

+ Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.

+ Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

+ Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required.

+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
