As a Security Officer TWIC Driving Role in Jacksonville, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government port location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

- Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

- Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of grounds, perimeter areas, entry points, parking areas, and waterfront or terminal-adjacent locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and public agency representatives regarding security-related matters.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
