Armed Security Officer – Baptist South
This is a full‑time night position working 12‑hour shifts (6:00 pm–6:15 am) with rotating weekends and holidays. The primary function is to assure the day‑to‑day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties.
Benefits
Eligible for up to $1,500 sign‑on bonus (if hired externally).
- Report any unusual circumstances and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Insure protection of individuals from harm by monitoring for safety hazards.
- Provide escort services.
- Respond to unsafe situations.
- Enforce hospital parking regulations.
- Assist individuals with vehicle problems.
- Over 5 years of law enforcement experience.
- High school diploma required.
- Associate or science degree preferred.
- Driver's license required.
- Licensed Security Officer – Class G required.
- Licensed Security Officer – Class D required.
- IAHSS Advanced preferred.
- IAHSS Safety preferred.
- IAHSS Basic preferred.
