PositionSecurity Officer GED Patrol Driver – Jacksonville, FL

Pay Rate: $17.06 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Monday to Sunday, 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter zones to identify potential issues and support security-related operations.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted or controlled areas.
- Assist with vehicle and pedestrian traffic monitoring, provide directions and information, and support security-related protocols for deliveries, visitors, and/or contractors.
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
