Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access

Pay Rate: $19.56 / Hour

Thur: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that may require follow-up by site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, badge records, and other access-related documentation while communicating clearly with site personnel regarding security-related procedures and expectations.

• Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
