• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and a weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six-month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and the potential to build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and assist with screening or entry procedures consistent with site requirements for a defense-related location.
• Support emergency protocols, coordinate with site contacts and/or public responders, and handle security-related equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable laws.

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
