As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.24 / Hour

Job Schedule: Saturday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access authorization, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and other security‑related concerns.
• Support access control, incident reporting, and post orders while maintaining readiness to respond to changing conditions across indoor and outdoor work areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
