Baptist Health is looking to add an Armed Security Officer to our Protective Services Department at our Baptist Silverleaf location. This is a Full-Time Nights position working 12-hour shifts.
The Security Officer's primary function is to assure the day-to-day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties. As patient safety and experience are top priority this growing team is currently implementing new technologies such as metal detectors.

Education & Credentials- High School Diploma (required)
- Associate or Science (preferred)
- Licensed Security Officer
- Class G (required) - Licensed Security Officer
- Class D (required) - International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Advanced (preferred)
- International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Safety (preferred)
- International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Basic (preferred)
- Law Enforcement Experience
Licensed Security Officer
- Class G - DACS
Driver's License - DMV
Licensed Security Officer
- Class D - DACS
