Job Skills / Requirements OVERVIEWFCS Security is expanding its licensed operations across the United States and is seeking full-time W-2 employees to serve as State Qualifying Agents. In states where regulations require a qualifying agent to be a direct employee, this position fulfills that requirement. You will serve as the company's qualifying agent of record in your state, enabling FCS Security to operate legally under your held license.
This is a licensing and compliance function — no fieldwork or day-to-day operational involvement is required.
- Serve as the primary qualifying agent of record for FCS Security in your state.
- Maintain your active state security license in good standing for the full duration of employment.
- Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with state licensing statutes, renewals, and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for state licensing board inquiries, audits, or correspondence.
- Coordinate with the FCS Security operations and compliance teams as needed.
- Track relevant regulatory changes and proactively communicate updates to the company.
- Assist with any licensing-related documentation, filings, or renewals as required.
- Active, current state security contractor or qualifying agent license in good standing.
- License must be held in the state for which you are applying.
- Clean license history — no suspensions, revocations, or pending disciplinary actions.
- Strong understanding of your state's security licensing laws and regulatory environment.
- Reliable availability to respond to compliance matters and regulatory correspondence.
- Prior experience as a qualifying agent, compliance officer, or in a similar licensing role preferred.
