Security Systems Coordinator
The Security Systems Coordinator serves as the primary liaison for the security team, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of security infrastructure deployments for assigned special projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and integration standards. This role manages door access requests through the ticketing system, oversees and verifies incoming security inventory, and collaborates with external vendors and internal departments including Facilities and IT to implement the necessary electrical and data infrastructure for reliable system installation and functionality.
Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive disaster recovery plan, including regular testing and staff training.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma
Required Licensure/Certification s: N/A
Preferred Licensure/Certification s: N/A
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years technical project management, security related systems.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with the access control system "C-Cure 9000" or other equivalent, infant protection systems such as "Stanley – HUGS" or "Centrak - New Baby" Ivanti Service request system, "Victor" camera mgmt. system, "Lynx" software-based panic alarm systems.
- Experience/familiarity with Physical security systems and technology such as access control systems, camera systems, emergency call boxes for remote areas, etc.
Necessary Skills:
- Must possess previous experience/familiarity with physical security systems and technology such as access control systems, camera systems, emergency call boxes for remote areas, etc.
- Must demonstrate ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to work well with people.
