Pipe Foreman

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pipe Foreman to oversee and coordinate the daily activities of our pipe crew. The Pipe Foreman will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of various underground piping systems, including sanitary sewer, force main, water, reuse, and storm drain systems. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of underground pipe installation processes.

• Supervision & Safety: Directly supervise and manage the activities of the pipe crew, ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are met. Conduct safety meetings and mentor crew members to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Installation Oversight: Supervise the installation of various types of underground piping systems, including sanitary sewer, force main, water, reuse, and storm drain, as well as associated appurtenances.
• Collaboration with Superintendent: Work closely with the Superintendent to plan daily activities, optimize productivity, and ensure efficient project completion.
• Reading & Interpreting Plans: Read, understand, and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure proper execution of the project.
• Documentation & Reporting: Accurately report crew time, production, and material usage. Ensure all documentation is completed on time and maintained for future reference.
• Resource Management: Effectively manage and allocate available equipment and human resources to ensure maximum productivity and minimal downtime.
• Scheduling & Planning: Collaborate with the team to plan work schedules, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of tasks according to project goals.

• Proven experience as a Pipe Foreman or in a similar role, overseeing underground pipe installation.
• Strong knowledge and experience in at least two areas of underground pipe installation, including sanitary sewer, force main, water, reuse, and storm drain.
• Hands-on experience with heavy equipment and machinery commonly used in underground pipe installation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and leadership capabilities.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification and Confined Space Certification (or the ability to obtain certification).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both field personnel and office staff.
