Service Technician – Enterprise Security Systems
We are looking for a Service Technician with experience in servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems including access control, IP cameras, intrusion, and visitor management. The role involves troubleshooting and programming networked IP video and access control systems, servicing commercial alarm systems, and IoT systems. The technician may work onsite or remotely depending on the repair or task, and must be comfortable with customer‑facing interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Service, troubleshoot, program, and test enterprise security systems (access control, IP cameras, intrusion, visitor management).
- Perform onsite and remote support for installation, maintenance, and repair of security hardware and software.
- Document service procedures and provide customer support as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Intermediate level experience with access control systems (Pro‑Watch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2, Open Path).
- Experience with video surveillance platforms (Axis, Exacq, Milestone, Max Pro, Genetec, Victora, Avigilon, Hanwha).
- Knowledge of locking hardware (ASSA ABLOY, Von Duprin & Adams Rite) and intrusion systems (Vista, DSC, Bosch, DMP).
- Current certification or proficiency in any of the listed platforms is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, installation, electrical, and customer service skills.
Type: Contract to Hire
Location: Jacksonville, FL (fully onsite)
Pay Range: $30–$38 per hour
