Job SummaryThe Cable Technician in Training supports cable technicians in all aspects of cabling jobs. The trainee is expected to learn installation techniques, safety procedures, and documentation practices while assisting with daily tasks such as cable pulling, tool handling, and site clean‑up. The ideal candidate is an eager learner with a strong work ethic and interest in technology, physically capable of lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in varied environments.
The ideal candidate is dependable, respectful, and motivated to grow into a full technician role.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Entry Level. No prior experience required.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: None required at entry.
Other- Willingness to learn; ability to follow instructions; punctual and team-oriented; capable of physical labor.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills (internet, mobile devices, email software).
- Must have physical capability to lift and climb ladders.
- Must follow all safety rules and wear proper PPE.
- Assist with cable pulling and termination.
- Learn tool usage and testing procedures.
- Support site clean‑up and documentation.
- Follow technician instructions and safety protocols.

- Travel to various customer locations across Florida and South Georgia, including overnight stays as required.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, including weekends as scheduled.
