We are currently hiring a Senior Diesel Mechanic to support our truck fleet in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay and excellent benefits.

- Hourly Pay: $32.00 per hour
- Sign-On Bonus: $1,750 at 30 days and $1,750 at 90 days
- Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE certification, up to $700
- Schedule:
Tuesday to Saturday - Second Shift:
Tues-Thurs: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Fri: 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Sat: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm - Work with a top team of technicians maintaining Heavy Duty Vehicles.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational/Technical Certification or related degree preferred
- Basic Tools required
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in automotive or diesel engine repair (preferred)
- Basic diagnostics and repairs including AC and electrical systems required
- Valid CDL Class A (preferred)
- Ability to obtain a CDL within 6 months after hire
- Ability to pass a Drug Test, DOT physical, road test, and background check
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems
- Complete detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
- Replace defective components and work independently on most tasks
- Assist with facility maintenance and interact with customers and drivers to resolve issues
- Utilize Shop Management System and electronic documentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety, DOT, and other federal and company guidelines
- Mentor junior technicians and support operations as needed
