HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate at peak efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement system upgrades or modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while working with HVAC systems to ensure a safe work environment.

Required Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in property maintenance or the HVAC/R industry.
• Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in welding and use of tools and equipment commonly found in HVAC installations and repairs.
• Solid understanding of HVAC principles, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 - 55 hours per week
