Sr. A&P Mechanic IA - Piston

• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul on piston aircraft systems and components.
• Conduct annual and progressive inspections in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Approve aircraft for return to service under Inspection Authorization (IA) privileges.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical discrepancies and determine corrective actions.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical data.
• Remove and replace aircraft components as required.
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all maintenance performed.
• Work independently in a fast-paced MRO or shop environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5+ years of general aviation (piston aircraft) maintenance experience required.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Strong knowledge of piston aircraft systems and general aviation maintenance practices.
• Experience performing annual inspections and IA sign-offs.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform inspections, repairs, and component replacements independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced MRO or shop environment.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to lift, stand, and work in various physical positions throughout the shift.

Compensation $35.00-$40.00
