  • Use torch proficiently for cutting, heating, and fitting preparation

Heat exchangers & pressure vessels

  • Perform full pressure vessel repairs including shell patch welding, nozzle replacement, refractory removal and replacement, and re-certification support

Preventive maintenance

  • Open, inspect, and close boilers and pressure vessels per PM schedule; document findings and condition of internal components with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Re-gasket flanges, manholes, handholes, and access covers using correct gasket materials and torque specifications

Mechanical work & piping

  • Install, align, and service pumps and associated mechanical equipment; perform packing, seal, and coupling replacements
  • Size pipe, valves, and system components to meet design specifications
  • Perform minor rigging during equipment installation — including lifting, positioning, and securing boilers, heat exchangers, pumps, and vessels using appropriate rigging hardware and practices
  • Complete work orders, daily activity reports, and as-built documentation accurately and on time
  • Maintain a valid driver s license and clean driving record
  • Work overtime and weekends as necessary; respond to emergency service calls
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Service Manager
