Typical hours: M-F, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (4–6 hours of weekly overtime typically available on a voluntary basis and paid at time-and-a-half; occasional mandatory OT may be required to support customer needs)

We’re working closely with Facility Automation Solutions as they expand their Service Team and add a new Controls Service Technician to their team in Jacksonville. Majority of their clients are within the Greater Jacksonville area, allowing for a better work/life balance with limited extended travel. Ideal candidates will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills with hands‑on experience servicing commercial low‑voltage systems. - Service environmental‑control and building systems (HVAC, lighting, access, etc.)
- Check and verify a variety of sensors (temperature, amps, static pressure, relays, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues to ensure operational efficiency
- Perform system diagnostics and calibrations to maintain peak performance
- Review and interpret electrical schematic wiring diagrams
- Travel to client sites and provide remote diagnostics when possible
- Ensure equipment safety standards and maintain safe work environments
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external clients
- Participate in on‑call rotation (typically, once every fifth week)
- Pursue ongoing education and training
- Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting commercial low‑voltage systems (e.g. building automation, electronic security, telecom, fire alarm systems, etc.)
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including wiring relays
