Job Summary
RQ Construction seeks skilled Sheet Metal Workers/Installers to join our Mechanical team for upcoming work at King's Bay Naval Base, GA and surrounding area. All work is performed on the military base and paid the required Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the base.
Key ResponsibilitiesFabricate and install ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on an active construction site, ensuring compliance with relevant codes. Apply mechanical principles using appropriate equipment while implementing required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Pay RangePay Range: $18.62 - $44.00 per hour DOE

Requirements- High school diploma or GED is the minimal education required.
- Four or more years (or equivalent) field or trade experience as a journey‑level sheet metal worker in a commercial or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial/industrial construction experience preferred.
- Experience in high‑bay areas and working with turning veins preferred.
- Rigging experience preferred.
- Hoisting certifications preferred.
- Per contract stipulations, access to SUBASE Kings Bay is limited to United States citizens only. Other work statuses cannot be considered for employment at this specific location.
