Indotronix is seeking an :
Product Repair/Modification Technician B (Electrical Systems)
Location:
Jacksonville, FL
Shift: Must be available for 1st or 2nd Shift
High school diploma or GED
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret wire schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Troubleshoot, install, terminate, and repair aircraft wiring, connectors, and fiber optic systems.
- Perform continuity, bonding, resistance, and AC/DC power checks.
- Install and route wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, coaxial cables, quadrax, and fiber optic cables.
- Perform wiring terminations, connector installation, splicing, and shielding activities.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, repairs, modifications, and functional testing on avionics and electrical systems.
- Utilize electrical test equipment including multimeters, megohmmeters, bond meters, and crimping tools.
- Document work accurately and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and report technical issues, discrepancies, and maintenance concerns.
- 4 5 years of aircraft maintenance, avionics, or military aviation experience.
- Experience working on Boeing 737 aircraft.
- Knowledge of fiber optic installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Experience installing and terminating electrical connectors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and technical documentation.
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) Certification.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices, FOD control, tool control, and safety procedures.
- Experience in military or commercial aircraft maintenance environments.
High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates with 4 5 years of relevant avionics, aircraft maintenance, military aviation, or aerospace experience are strongly preferred.
