Location:

Jacksonville, FL. This position is typically an 8‑hour shift with occasional overtime. Great pay, benefits, sign on bonus and plenty of room for growth.

95% of our fleet are trucks built at our plant in Ridgeland, S.C. All have the same power package and driveline, making it easier for a mechanic to learn and become proficient. We can train the right candidate.

• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, A/C, steering, cooling, DEF, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
• Utilize computer software diagnostic systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
• Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs.
• Perform maintenance‑related work as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Preferably 2+ years experience in heavy truck repair or heavy, medium duty, or farm equipment repair.
• Forklift or construction equipment repair.
• Automotive maintenance and repair.
• Completion of a diesel or automotive tech program.

Good attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic are preferred qualities.

Must maintain your own tool set (company provided tool program available).
