Residential Electrician - NEC Standard; Jacksonville, FL

Job Summary

As the Residential Electrician (QA Technician), you will be responsible for physically inspecting residential houses to ensure that all lighting, devices, and equipment are wired, installed, and working correctly according to Local and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and are ready for inspection.

• Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local NEC codes.
• Inspection and repair of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential new construction homes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine proper wiring locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair all circuitry in new home construction.
• Maintain good communication and organization skills.
• Maintain safety standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Understanding of local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems.
• Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings.
• Willingness to operate a company vehicle.
• Self‑motivated and driven to complete tasks to the best of ability.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Physical dexterity.
• Clear communication skills.
• Organizational skills.

• 3–5 years of fast‑paced residential electrical new construction experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record required.

• Must possess own hand and power tools to execute electrical jobs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times.
